Resting In Our Room

Our little girl is resting in her room. She did not have to keep the breathing tube in, which is great! She is trying to control the pain but I can tell she is in some pain but they are giving her some good meds to try to control. She is doing what they expect her to be doing. She likes to move and is not keeping her blanket on. They put a heater on to control her temperature. Doctors have come in and out all afternoon and I am trying to keep everything straight. I will say seeing her at first was shocking and made my heart drop but I know this is very temporary and she will be running around before I know it. I am staying here tonight and hope I can get some rest. I can’t tell you how overwhelmed of all the support and prayers we had today. I am so thankful for Jeremy to be my rock. I am thankful for my parents and Jeremy’s parents to be by our side all day today. They are the best! So thankful for Jeremy’s sister to come up and be by our side. I was taken away to see my childhood preacher and the one that married Jeremy and I come by to visit. Kenlee has everyone else at home that loves her and wishes they could be here with her. We have the best team!
