Today was another good day. We heard the words we were looking for…go home! We are shooting for Monday. We have an echocardiogram and EKG tomorrow and depending on those we should be a step closer. They still want her to gain some weight, with all going on she has lost just a little so we are upping the calorie of the formula. We had done this as well before the surgery to get her to bulk up before the surgery. Here is some highlights of the day.
- She got her right hand IV out
- They let us take her down stairs to do the X-ray instead of them having to do a portable one. She was just doing so good we went on a field trip.
- Her surgeon Dr Manning came by to see her.
- We watched them change the band-aid on her chest
- More breathing treatments, then no more cause her lungs look better.
- The cardiologist came by and said she and the X-ray looked good.
- Took out last IV of her leg
- She was off the monitors for a little bit cause she was doing so good.
I am so proud of how good she is doing, she is a tough cookie! Every once in a while you can tell that she is hurting but that is to be expected. Everyday will get better.
Jeremy and I took a little walk to clear our minds on the garden courtyard on the rooftop of the hospital. It was beautiful! It made me want to get home and plant some flowers.

We had about all we could have of the hospital cafeteria so we ordered to delivery. We had a great dinner and a movie. 10 minutes in we turned the movie off cause it was hard to understand on a 5 inch screen. We will finish it when we get home on our 55 inch screen!!!

Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers! Time to feed her then I am off to bed!!
