We have been enjoying being home. Kenlee is feeling really good. We still have to be careful how we pick her up and hold her. She still is not too sure being on her tummy. She has rolled over to her tummy several times but will sometimes cry. She will get back to loving tummy time soon.
Kenlee turned 6 months on the day we got home from the hospital. We took her 6 month pictures a couple days after that. Here are a couple of them.
We also went for the 6 month check up and follow up with the cardiologist. Her heart is looking good and there is still a tiny hole that they said should be closed in a couple of months. We are going to continue her meds for the fluid another month then they think she won’t have to take it any more. We saw Kenlee’s pediatrician and she was very happy with her development. She is hitting almost every milestone and she said she is just like a month off. We are so excited for that, even with a heart that had to work double time. Just watch out now that her heart is fixed! She is gaining weight just like they want her too. She was 10 pounds 11 ounces. Then came the not so fun part of having her shots. She did good but was glad they were over.
