Change of Plans

Well this morning has been going great until we received the results back from Kenlee’s echo. They just told us that there is fluid around Kenlee’s heart and we need to get it clear before we can go home. They say it is very normal to have after surgery but they can’t send us home like that. It is bad news but it can be fixed, we will just not be going home tomorrow. Jeremy and I were looking forward to being home with our little girl. 

Below is a before and after of Kenlee heart. You can see on the left side there is an open area in the middle. Then on the right you can see the four chambers like a normal heart. Praise God that there is no more hole.

We have really seen how much prayers have helped Kenlee these past couple of days. So we need some more. 

• That Kenlee will gain weight. She is not gaining like they want her too. She is even losing some.
• That we can get the fluid off her heart. They will have to redo an IV to be able to give her meds to work on getting it away.

Once these are taken care of we are one step closer to go home. 

We just put the IV back in and she was not a happy camper. I really hope that we are not taking a step back. It hurts my heart so much to she her cry.
